Following the 14 days ultimatum given to Traders at the Alaba Rago Market, Ojo Lagos, to vacate the premises for development by the Lagos the state government, the Sarkin Fulani of Lagos and Chairman Council of Fulani Chiefs South West, Alh. (Dr) Mohammed Abubakar Bambado II has intervened on the issue.
Bambado met and discussed with Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo Olu at his office in Alausa where he raised the concerns and plights of the traders.

Chairman Arewa Community APC Lagos state said the Governor, on behalf of the Lagos State Government reversed the earlier pronouncement and allowed the traders in Alaba Rago to continue their legitimate business in the market pending a formal agreement and development plan considering the traders plight.
Gulma said His Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Mohammed Abubakar Bambado II called on the traders and business entrepreneurs in Alaba Rago market to remain calm and ensure a law-abiding environment, free from delinquent activities.
It would be recalled that the Lagos State Government had earlier given the traders in the market a 14 days ultimatum to vacate the place to pave way for developers to move in and commence work.
